NY NICKS TO MAKE CARMELO ANTHONY BUILD HIS OWN TEAM IN 2015....THIS WILL BE COOL !

NY Knicks Reportedly Willing to Let Carmelo Anthony Build His Own Team in 2015. The New York Knicks are already starting to think about how to keep Carmelo Anthony once his massive contract expires. Melo has a player option after the 2013-14 season comes to a close, and he is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in 2015 even if he chooses to stay with the team for another season.

If he's willing to wait that long and doesn't consider leaving in 2014 for a team like, say, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Knicks are prepared to make it worth his while.

According to Hoopsworld's Steve Kyler, New York is set to let Anthony pull a Dwyane Wade:

On the Anthony front, there is a chance he looks at greener pastures in 2014, but sources close to the process say the Knicks have already let Anthony know that their books will be basically clear in 2015 and he can pick his teammates much as Wade did in Miami.

With the New York market behind him and the almost unlimited checkbook of the Knicks, Anthony will have a lot of options in 2015 and while teams like the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers might be tempting in 2014, Anthony has a lot of influence in New York and they are willing to let him build his own team in NYC in 2015.

There's a chance the books could be completely cleared in 2015, allowing 'Melo and the rest of the New York decision-makers to start from scratch.

According to Spotrac, Pablo Prigioni has a non-guaranteed contract for 2015-16, while J.R. Smith and Raymond Felton both have player options. Tim Hardaway Jr.'s contract has a club option, and no one else is signed that far into the future.

Even if all four of those players return, the Knicks will only have a little under $14 million committed, leaving them plenty of cap room to work with.

A lot can change between now and then, but the 2015 free-agent class is set up to be a pretty strong one. Anthony, LaMarcus Aldridge, Andrew Bynum, Marc Gasol, DeAndre Jordan, Tony Parker, Zach Randolph and Rajon Rondo could all be unrestricted free agents. Even more stars will hit the market as restricted free agents.

Things worked out fairly well for Wade when he got to pick his teammates.

Could a similar promise be enough to keep Anthony in his hometown?

DWYANE WADE PAYS 5 MILLION TO DIVORCE HIS X WIFE !

Basketball superstar Dwyane Wade will pay his former high school sweetheart, Sioh­vaughn Funches-Wade, $5 million in a divorce settlement that a judge decided was valid on Monday, the Sun-Times is reporting. The settlement also includes a “non-disparage” agreement in which each party must refrain from making disparaging remarks about the other.

Funches-Wade also will receive the couples’ former mansion in South Holland and four cars.

Brian Hurst, an attorney for Funches-Wade, argued that his client never fully agreed to all the provisions in the settlement, including the “non-disparage” provision. But Cook County Circuit Court Judge John Thomas Carr decided both parties did agree on the deal and he found the settlement valid, effectively ending a six-year divorce proceeding that has drawn national attention.

Exactly what will constitute a disparaging remark still needs to be hammered out, but Wade’s attorney, James Pritikin, expects violation of the terms would result in a fine. Pritikin said protection from disparaging remarks also would extend to Wade’s family members, as well as his girlfriend, actress Gabrielle Union.

Outside the courtroom Monday, Funches-Wade expressed her displeasure with the decision. “My voice isn’t for sale, my story isn’t for sale, no thank you.” Wade did not attend the hearing.

Funches-Wade, who on Friday sat outside the Daley Center with a cardboard sign that read: “NBA Miami Heat star, mother of his children on the streets,” has repeatedly said the three-time Miami Heat champion has not kept his obligation to pay $25,000 a month in spousal support.

Pritikin dismissed the assertion and issued a written statement Monday afternoon: “Dwyane Wade has made several requests over the years to settle this matter, despite Ms. Funches having 16 different attorneys and 2 arrests throughout this process. Mr. Wade has provided a very generous settlement to Ms. Funches to continue to live a wonderful lifestyle for the rest of her life.

Despite false allegations by Ms. Funches claiming to be ‘homeless’ and ‘destitute,’ Dwyane Wade has maintained over the years financial support to his ex-wife by providing her with income over $25,000 on a monthly basis, timely paid for her home mortgage, maintenance and security at the house, 4 cars, insurance, taxes and all of her attorney fees throughout this process.

Accountant Arthur Erk said he used conservative estimates to determine Jackson’s earning potential.

Katherine Jackson, who is suing music promoters AEG Live for $40bn (£26bn), was heard for the first time in court.

In a video statement, the singer’s mother said she was surprised when Jackson announced the This Is It concerts in London.

“He didn’t want to be doing the moonwalk on stage when he’s over 50,” she said in a short clip of her out of court testimony.

But Mr Erk, who has worked with musicians including Britney Spears and rock band Kiss, said Jackson had considered a Las Vegas show based on his music and archive footage.

“Demand was so wild that he probably could have charged more for tickets and still sold out,” Erk told the court.

Jackson had signed on for 50 shows in London before he died in June 2009, but contracts for the shows indicated a longer 37-month tour was a possibility.

The singer’s family are in the process of presenting figures to jurors to calculate potential damages, if the jury should find the company liable for the singer’s death.

The defence lawyer for AEG Live, which denies any wrongdoing, questioned the figures, claiming they did not account for the singer’s lavish spending habits or his $400m (£264.6m) debt.

The trial, currently in its 12th week, is expected to last until the end of July.

For failing to appear in court and sit down for her deposition, Rihanna may stand to lose millions, if her former money managers Berdon LLP, whom she sued last year, is able to convince the judge to penalize her for her resistance. The Barbadian princess is said to be applying some Lindsay Lohan antics of avoiding her courtroom appointments but her ex-accountants have apparently had enough.

Berdon LLP is taking legal action against the recording artist for multiple absences for court-ordered depositions from November of last year until most recently, a June 19 court date reportedly due to an illness. The accounting firm had apparently spent $100,000 for arranging the June 19 deposition in London just to accommodate the singer’s schedule, but she ultimately was a no-show too that day.

The accountants are slamming RiRi for her inexcusable behavior, saying the entertainer showed no signs of illness either before or after the scheduled deposition and was able to perform in her shows around that time and even tweeted about them. Citing they have been “pushed beyond the breaking point,” the firm wants the multi-million dollar case dropped and is asking for $100,000 for their wasted time and resources.

Rihanna sued Berdon LLP back in 2012 for allegedly mismanaging her money. The New York-based accounting firm claims the artist’s financial loss was the result of her own irresponsibility and that they have not swindled her or owe her anything.

Born on January 7, 1987, in the family of six (four boys and two girls), Sam Tuyizere, aka Sam Ryan’s passion to music dates back to his childhood.

Both his parents being pastors, Ryan grew up in church and says that his family played a major role in developing his music career.

He started playing a piano at the age of six and was later introduced to different music instruments.

He attended Remera Catholic Primary School and George Fox College of Kagarama for secondary. He is currently pursuing management studies at INLAK.

While growing up Ryan thought he would be a musician, but instead opted for music production because of his love for musical instruments.

How his career started

Ryan gets his inspiration for music production from David Gater and Dr. Dre, whom he says he admires because of their style of music. His journey in music production started in 2006 at Amnet Records with producer Emile Mbayeho.

“I loved music and computers that’s when I landed on this software called FLstudio for mixing beats,” narrates Ryan.  “So when I reached Ament I had some little knowledge about production and they taught me a lot of stuff about FL and Logic soft wares used in music production.”

The D.A.'s legal docs claim Brown "willfully and unlawfully" broke the law in the hit-and-run case. And, law enforcement sources tell us, even if the L.A. The D.A.'s documents asks the judge to revoke his probation and immediately remand him into custody. But we've learned that's a standard request and when the D.A. goes to court today at 1:30 PM PT, they will not ask the judge to haul Chris to the pokey.
