Duets cast member John Legend and Jordin Sparks, star of the upcoming film Sparkle, paid tribute to Whitney Houston at theBillboard Music Awards this evening. The late singer, who passed away in February at the age of 48, was honored with the Billboard Millennium Award at the Las Vegas ceremony. Her sister Pat Houston and daughter Bobbi Kristina Brownwere on hand to accept the statue.

Jay Z and Beyonce are desperately trying save Rihanna from spiraling out of control.
Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z are reportedly reaching out to Rihanna after becoming “worried” about her “wild” ways.
The Bajan singer revealed she had been hospitalised in New York City last week after posting a photo of an IV drip attached to her arm on her Twitter account. Rihanna’s recent hospital trip has sparked concern among those around her – who fear her hectic lifestyle may be taking its toll on her health. Beyoncé and Jay-Z are said to be considering moving the star into their New York home to set her on “the right path”.“Rihanna thinks she can go wild at parties, then wake up fine the next day. But clearly she can’t. Hopefully the shock of ending up in hospital will be a wake-up call,” a source told British magazine Closer.
“Jay-Z and Beyoncé are worried – they want her where they can keep an eye on her.” The couple – who welcomed daughter Blue Ivy into the world earlier this year – are reportedly determined to straighten out the wayward singer.
Jay-Z and Beyoncé have faith that Rihanna can calm her lifestyle down. “There’s been talk at Roc Nation [Jay-Z's record label, who manage Rihanna] that she’s becoming harder to handle, but Jay-Z has stood by her from day one. He’s pleaded with her to clean up her act and Beyoncé is keen to help – even suggesting Rihanna needs a ‘good man!’” the insider added. “Beyoncé thinks Rihanna needs a steadying influence, so it could help if she spends time around their family.”
Jay-Z and Beyoncé are not the only people worried about Rihanna. The 24-year-old’s mother Monica Fenty is said to be keeping track of her whereabouts in a bid to end her party-hard ways.
“Monica’s moving in to keep an eye on her. Rihanna’s dad, Ronald, was a crack addict. Monica’s refusing to let her go down that path,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

OJ Simpson suffered a frighting collapse after experiencing stroke like symptoms in the Nevada prison where he is being held on armed robbery charges…
O.J., who turns 65 in July, was talking with some of his fellow inmates in the prison’s recreation area when his speech became slurred, an insider revealed. He then slumped over and fell off his chair, complaining of double vision and weakness in his arms.
“His buddies were sure he suffered a stroke,” continued the insider. “The guards were so concerned they sounded the alarm and carried O.J. to his bunk while a doctor rushed from the prison hospital to help him.O.J. has gained a considerable amount of weight since he began serving a sentence of up to 33 years for armed robbery and other convictions in 2008. At the time of his incarceration, the 6-foot-2 former gridiron great weighed 235 pounds. Sources say he’s now tipping the scales at a whopping 283!
After monitoring him for several days, prison doctors determined O.J. did not suffer a stroke, but rather a serious pre-stroke condition called a Transient Ischemic Attack, which mimics an actual stroke. They warned him he needed to change his eating and exercise habits immediately, said the insider.
“O.J. told a close friend, ‘I plan on living long enough to walk out of this prison one day. I’m taking this for real – I’m going to get in shape,’” said the insider.
MICHAEL JACKSON ESTATE SETTLES THE LAWSUIT WITH THE THRILLER VIDEO ACTRESS!!
The Michael Jackson Estate has settled a lawsuit with an actress who starred in his ‘Thriller’ music video.
Actress Ola Ray played the role of the late singer’s love interest in the film. She sued Jackson’s production company in May 2009 – the month before he died – claiming she hadn’t been paid royalties for the short film which accompanied his track in 1983.
Ray – who is a former Playboy Playmate – filed the case stating a breach of contract, saying that she was still owed a large sum for her work on the successful clip.
Details of the settlement have not been made public.
The actress’s legal representative previously said that Ray was not sure how much she is owed by Jackson’s estate, but that her accountants were working the amount out.
Thriller’ director John Landis has also filed a similar lawsuit against Jackson’s estate. However,TMZ reports that Landis and the estate are currently trying to work out an agreement.
‘Thriller’ was named the most influential video in pop music history by a MySpace poll two years ago, and topped a Billboard poll of favorite pop videos from the 1980s last August.
