TEAM USA...CELEBRATED THEIR OLYMPIC GOLD IN LONDON HOLLYWOOD STYLE..WITH SWIZZ BEATZ AND NAS...IT WAS CRAZY
To honor the Gold medal victory that Team USA captured in their final basketball game vs. Spain at the 2012 London Olympic games, a celebratory party was thrown at Club Bud presented by TAO/MARQUEE with Swizz Beatz.
Swizz Beatz let the Queen classic "We Will Rock You" blast through the venue as the U.S. Men's basketball team made their way to the stage beside him. Swizz then let the bottles pop as he showered the many in attendance with some expensive champagne. Once he put on the Jay-Z & Kanye West hit single "Ni**as In Paris", the entire team busted out their dance moves much to the crowd's pleasure.
Carmelo Anthony and Kobe Bryant were accompanied by their wives Lala and Vanessa, who arrived wearing seductive leopard print dresses. Kobe and his wife Vanessa refused to take photos together, as they were too busy spending much of the night dancing very close together. Meanwhile, Lebron James, Russel Westbrook, Kevin Durant, and the rest of the U.S. squad were photographed with nothing but smiles on their faces the whole night.
To close out the show, Nas surprised the 2,000 party-goers with a surprise performance, as the high end fiesta went on well past 3 a.m. and had everyone singing and dancing while swelling with pride for the United States...TEAM USA WERE ALSO GIFTED THE GOLD HEAD PHONES ..BEATS BY DRE !

BEYONCE RESPONDS TO BELAFONTE'S BARBS !
Last week actor/activist Harry Belafonte blasted pop stars Beyonce and Jay Z for turning their backs on their social responsibility.
85 year old actor/activist Harry Belafonte accuses high profile celebrities of turning their back on their social responsibilities, namely Jay Z and Beyonce…
Asked if he were happy with the image of minorities in Hollywood today Belafonte replied,
“Not at all. They have not told the history of our people, nothing of who we are. We are still looking. We are not determinated. We are not driven by some technology that says you can kill Afghans, the Iraqis or the Spanish. It is all — excuse my French — shit. It is sad. And I think one of the great abuses of this modern time is that we should have had such high-profile artists, powerful celebrities. But they have turned their back on social responsibility. That goes for Jay-Z and Beyonce, for example. Give me Bruce Springsteen, and now you’re talking. I really think he is black”
Beyonce fires back with a list of her accomplishments…
In response to Belafonte’s words, Beyonce’s representative emailed what she called “An abbreviated list of the unselfish work Beyoncé has done and continues to do.” The list included co-founding The Survivor Foundation “a multi-purpose community outreach facility in downtown Houston”; donating “100K in 2008 to the Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund to aid Texas victims of Hurricane Ike”; performing in “MTV’s Hope For Haiti Now! Benefit in addition to making a generous monetary donation,” among many other charitable activities.

A child actor on popular Canadian teen series Degrassi: The Next Generation from the age of 15 to 22, Drake never finished high school. But now that he’s on a break from recording albums and touring, the Toronto native has decided to finish what he started.“I’m actually spending my summer graduating high school,” he said in a recent interview with Now Toronto. “That’s my main focus after OVO Fest. I only have one credit left, and I’m really excited about that.”

SNOOP LION ( FORMERLY ) SNOOP DOGG..PERFORMS HIS NEW REGGAE SONG " LA LA LA " FOR THE FIRST TIME IN CANADA ..I LUV IT THOU !!
Snoop Dogg‘s new reggae persona, Snoop Lion, performed over the weekend at theOsheaga Festival in Montreal, where he treated festival attendees to the first-ever live version of his new single, ‘La La La.’
Snoop Lion looked the part, with a Rasta hat and a black tshirt with his own face on it in the reggae colors of red, green and yellow. He took the stage smoking something that looked suspiciously like an illegal substance — although we know Snoop would never do such a thing. Between puffs, he sang the laid-back tune and invited the crowd to sing along with the deceptively-catchy hook.
‘La La La’ will appear on Snoop’s next release, ‘Reincarnated,’ which documents his transformation from rapper to reggae champion. Snoop said in a statement that he “wanted to bury Snoop Dogg and become Snoop Lion,” although he reportedly included some old rap hits like ‘Gin and Juice’ in his Osheaga set. Also, we feel obligated to point out that Snoop still used his giant custom-made “Snoop Dogg” microphone. Hey, that thing probably cost a lot of dough, so who can blame him for wanting to get his money’s worth?
Diplo and Major Lazer are among the big-name producers who worked on the new record. A documentary about Snoop’s life-changing experiences in Jamaica, to be released in conjunction with the album, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in early September
