ALICIA KEYS & SWIZZ BEATS EXPLAINS WHY THEY ARE SOUL MATE

                         

Alicia Keys was accompanied by her husband, Swizz Beatz, in the interview for her latest VIBE cover story. During that discussion, the couple declared that they were soul mates and professed, “We want the whole world to have what we have.” How did they know they were destined for each other?

Here’s Swizz’s explanation on how the two knew they were soul mates:

“It was the craziest thing,” says Dean, leaning forward in his chair. “We had a work lunch with some people, and I get home and look in the back pocket—”

“My credit card was in his pocket,” Keys finishes the story, eyes wide. “Why was my credit card in his pocket?”

One explanation might be that he’d grabbed it by accident when they split the check, but that would be too prosaic. They saw the credit card debacle as a sign, the first of many. Well, second, if you count the time, 14 years ago, when they first met and Dean tried unsuccessfully to get her number from his friend. “It wasn’t our time yet,” he says with a smile.

Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Tito Jackson are hitting the road together for the first time in almost thirty years…

The Jackson four Unity Tour is scheduled for 27 dates across the US with stops at the Apollo theater in New York and the Greek theater in LA. The last time the brothers toured together was the 1984 Victory Tour.

A statement from Jermaine reads,

“I am so happy and excited to perform again onstage with my brothers. I can’t wait to sing all the songs that were so much a part of all of our lives. Williams is now revealing that isn’t the worst storm she’s had to weather. In her new memoir, You Have No Idea, Williams divulged she was molested by a woman when she was ten years old. Vanessa Williams says she finally came forward with the story because she wants to help others deal with the aftermath of sexual abuse.
