RAY J-BREAKS DOWN AT LAX AIRPORT BECAUSE OF WHITNEY'S DEATH

       

Whitney Houston's bereaved friend Ray J returned to Los Angeles on Sunday after attending Houston's funeral in New Jersey over the weekend.The 31-year-old, overwhelmed with emotion at LAX, crouched against a wall with his head in his hand as he looked deep in thought. He was seen being consoled by his bodyguard as they made their way through the airport.

During Houston's funeral on Saturday, Ray J broke down as he watched her coffin being carried away out of the church. Whitney was laid to rest on Sunday next to her father, John Houston, who passed away in 2003.

The rapper and Whitney shared an on-and-off relationship over the years and were spotted cuddling at TRU Nightclub as recently as February 9, two days before the singer died.

A new report from TMZ says the basketballer has been "aggressively" pursuing for a reconciliation over the last three weeks -- and Vanessa has been open to it. The two were spotted in a liplock last week after one of Kobe's games.

Bryant, 33, once gave his wife a $4-million ring in 2003 after he was accused of sexually assaulting a female hotel employee in Colorado. The charges were eventually dropped, and Kobe went all out for Vanessa's forgiveness, purchasing an eight-carat, purple diamond ring.

Again, Kobe has reportedly been showering his wife with lavish gifts, including a very expensive piece of jewelry.

The two are reportedly working on their marriage. Sources said they would not be surprised if Vanessa, who already scored all three mansions in Newport Beach, Calif. in their settlement, decided to go back to Kobe.

Funeral services for Whitney Houston were held today at New Hope Baptist church in Newark, New Jersey. Amid the solemn service, however, there were conflicting reports about her ex-husband Bobby Brown leaving during the ceremony.

According to TMZ sources, Brown had a dispute with the family because he wanted to speak during the service.Other reports stated that there was a dispute over seating.

A publicist for Brown released the following statement:

My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions. I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. I

n light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.

LeBron James, the Miami Heat star still searching for his first title after two losing trips to the NBA Finals, posted a Twitter message calling Jordan The G.O.A.T., for Greatest of All Time. 

"Happy B-day to the person I idolized and wanna to be just like as a kid playing the game of basketball Michael Jordan. #TheG.O.A.T." James tweeted. 

Magic Johnson, the former Los Angeles Lakers star who now serves as a television commentator, praised Jordan in comments for ESPN.

Wow! Chris Brown not only attended Rihanna’s birthday party in LA Feb. 13, the former lovers came out as a couple, holding hands and snuggling all night! Can you believe it?

Chris Brown may be getting torn down on Twitter, but he’s on top of the world. Not only did he wintwo Grammys last weekend, the 22-year-old singer earned a place back in his ex-girlfriend Rihanna‘s heart and was the object of her affection at her 23rd birthday party Feb. 13.

Despite having assaulted her three years ago, Chris attended Ri’s bash at the Hearst Mansion in Beverly Hills and spent the night next to the lady of the hour, “sitting next to [her], talking and holding hands,” reports TMZ.

However, before strolling into the event, Chris tried to make all the guests — who included Katy Perry,Bruno Mars and Chris Martin — sign a non-disclosure agreement that they wouldn’t tell anyone he was there.

We told you exclusively last week they spent four hours together alone in a dressing room in the Staples Center. Plus, we have reported they have been going to the same nightclubs at the same time and communicating via Twitter. Clearly, this relationship has been brewing for awhile.

(C’mon, does anyone doubt Rihanna’s song, “We Found Love,” is about their troubled affair right now?)

Three years ago, Chris beat up Rihanna during a fight and was convicted of felony assault and given five years probation.

Whitney Houston's family has finally reached out to Bobby Brown ... and have formally invited him to attend Whitney's funeral in NJ on Saturday ... TMZ has learned.

Houston family sources tell us, "At the last minute, the family felt that it would keep the peace at the funeral [to have Bobby there] ... even though some family members were against it."

As we previously reported, several Houston family members were strongly opposed to inviting Brown to the funeral because they blame him in part for contributing to Whitney's downfall.

Sources close to Bobby tell us family friends had warned him not to go to the funeral ... but now, with the change of heart, Bobby will definitely be there.

Brown has agreed to perform at a concert at an Indian casino in Connecticut hours after the funeral ... and we're told he plans to leave NJ on a private jet so he can make it to the show on time.

The divorce drama may have ended for LA Lakers Star Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa.

Sources reported to TMZ that the pair are reconciling, even spending Valentine’s Day Together.

Pictures have surfaced showing the gorgeous Mexicana cheering on her soon to be ex-hubby at Tuesday night’s Lakers game against the Atlanta Hawks.

After smiling at her man from the sidelines, the couple was seen kissing while heading towards the Laker locker room at the Staples Center.

Even though the couple has filed for divorce it won’t be final until June, leaving plenty of time for the couple to reconcile permanently.

With or without her man, Vanessa is set to receive three of the couple’s mansions worth over $18 million dollars.

The properties that Mrs. Bryant has transferred to her name include the mansion inside the Pelican Hill Resort which is still under construction worth $ 11.2 million, their other Newport Beach home which was co-owned, worth $2.9 million, and the home which was under Kobe's trust worth $4.7 million.
